Flying over the Emir's Nest: Photographer takes a bird's-eye view of Dubai

He took pictures from a bird's-eye view. One of his photos so impressed the jury of the competition for the best photos taken from a drone, Dronestagram from National Geographic, that he was given the first place.



Bahir's main job is completely unrelated to photography — he works as a financial controller. But he successfully combines work and passion for photography.

Bahir uses DJI Phantom drones in his work.



The photographer says that his pictures show not only the beauty of the city, but also its evolution.


This photo impressed the jury of the Dronestagram contest from National Geographic. 8000 photos were selected for the contest by category: "Nature", "People", "City" and "Creativity". Bahir's photo won in the "City" category.
