Perhaps it is true, but the wonderful followers of Monet, Renoir and Degas delight fans of this direction in painting today. American artist Eric Wallis is one of the painters who remain faithful to classical impressionism. Most of all, Eric likes to paint female portraits, and very frank ones.
(Careful! Nude).

Eric Wallis was born in Arizona, USA, in 1968. There were no creative professions in his family, but the boy's father and mother loved painting, classical music and theater very much. Wallis started drawing at the age of 7 and has been doing it daily ever since. As a professional, the artist declared himself in 1990 by organizing his first solo exhibition.

Since then, success has been a constant companion of Wallis and his works are welcome guests at the most prestigious international exhibitions, as well as popular lots at major auctions.

All the work of the American artist can be divided into two directions — landscape painting and erotic portraits. It was nude paintings that brought Eric Wallis recognition and in the Electronic Encyclopedia of Artistic Eroticism "Erovvheel" the artist is presented as a master of erotic female portrait.

And here is the artist himself:

Wallis's erotic paintings are bright and joyful, but nude portraits can be less cheerful and even frightening. Baroque painting by Roberto Ferri eloquently convinces us of this.
