A 26-year-old resident of Nigeria was arrested by the Islamic police - hisba - for trying to sell himself for $ 50,000 (about 3.6 million rubles). The guy walked through the city streets with a cardboard sign on which the price was indicated. Find out what he wanted to spend the money on from our material.

Aliyu Na Idris became a news hero at the end of October. The guy was spotted on the streets of the city of Karo with a cardboard sign that read: "This man is for sale. The price is 20 million nara (about 3.6 million rubles)."

The Nigerian, who works as a tailor, told reporters that for the first time he tried to sell himself in Kaduna, but never found a buyer. Aliyu then came to Karo for the same purpose. He explained that he decided to sell himself because of poverty. The guy wanted to give half of the money to his parents, and leave the rest for his daily expenses. In addition, Aliyu planned to pay the state tax from the proceeds and thank the one who would help him find a buyer.

The man says that several people were interested in his offer, but did not agree to pay such a sum. Aliyah never managed to sell himself. After his story spread on social networks, the Nigerian was arrested by the Hisba police for violating the rules of Islam.
The arrest caused outrage among social media users. Many called for the release of the Nigerian, and the police released the detainee on the same day. Aliyu said that they treated him well, talked to him about God and gave him advice on how to live on.
Another young Nigerian, unlike Aliyu, was much more lucky. He became a model by accident.
