Brave offer: Mel Gibson sells "medieval" estate for $21 million

Mel Gibson is moving. A Hollywood star has put up for sale his delightful mansion in Malibu, near Los Angeles. He estimated the medieval-style house at $21.3 million. Curiously, before Gibson, actor David Duchovny lived there with his wife. In 2008, he sold the property to a colleague for 12 million. Gibson has done a lot of work on the interior over the past time, so the price has soared.

The total area of the house, built in 1996, is 611 square meters. There are five bedrooms, the same number of bathrooms, a home library, a veranda and a fireplace room. The infield occupies 2.2 hectares. It has two swimming pools, a private beach and a guest house.
