Photographer Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek, having got the opportunity to get behind the scenes of one of the competitions of the Bodybuilding Federation in Vienna, dispelled this myth a little, exposing the other, human side of the athletes.
Behind the scenes of the competition, Daniel managed to capture not only the birth of "bronze" superhumans from simple, albeit more muscular representatives of homo sapiens, but also sincere moments of friendship among those who will become direct competitors on stage.
