By Pictolic https://www.pictolic.com/article/beaver-the-thief-of-christmas.htmlOn Monday, the sheriff of the settlement of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, USA, received a call from a local supermarket. The alarmed store manager reported that one of the visitors was behaving suspiciously, apparently not going to pay for the selected product, and besides, he, the visitor, was a beaver. Junior Sergeant Yingling went to the scene and caught the animal red-handed. Beaver was just shaking a box with an artificial Christmas tree.
"The suspect tried to escape, but was caught," the sheriff's department said in an official statement.
Interviewing witnesses allowed us to restore the full picture of the crime. Beaver entered the supermarket through the main entrance and immediately went to the shelf with Christmas decorations. After studying the assortment, the beast tore up one or two goods, after which he was detained.
Taking into account the insignificance of the damage caused and the absence of criminal records, Junior Sergeant Yingling decided to release the troublemaker to freedom.
