She is not afraid to be different — a congenital disease did not prevent the girl from becoming a model and acting for the famous fashion publication V Magazine.

Canadian Caitin Stickles was born with a rare chromosomal abnormality, which is called cat's eye syndrome. This disorder often leads to facial disfigurement, scoliosis, cleavage of the palate, heart and kidney problems and other anomalies.

Despite the fact that 29-year-old Kaitin is far from the usual standards of beauty, she takes part in photoshoots as a model. Thanks to her Instagram account, fashion photographer Nick Knight came out to her, who invited the cat girl to take part in filming for V Magazine.

In a new photo shoot for V Magazine, photographer Nick Knight introduced the world to Kaitin Sticklez, a professional model whose appearance is radically different from generally accepted standards.

Kaitin Sticklez from Seattle is 29 years old. She was born with a rare disorder — Schmid-Frakkaro syndrome, or cat's eye syndrome, which disfigured her face.

Cat's eye syndrome is characterized by two main clinical manifestations: anal atresia and iris defect (coloboma), from which the disease takes its name. The reason for this is an extra chromosome.

Despite her unusual appearance, the girl has been taking part in professional photo shoots for a long time.

Kaitin proudly demonstrates her difference from others by posting pictures from photo projects in which she takes part on her Instagram page.

It was thanks to the Instagram account that the famous British photographer Nick Knight, who photographed Queen Elizabeth, Lady Gaga and Kanye West, found out about the unusual model.

He invited the Canadian to take part in a photo shoot for V Magazine and arranged a network broadcast of the entire filming process.

The girl herself describes her appearance as "exotic, to put it mildly."

In addition to her unusual face, the Canadian is also distinguished by her diminutiveness — with a height of 155 cm, she weighs 40 kilograms.

Kaitin is simply delighted with the opportunity to work with a large-scale publication and an eminent photographer. This shoot opens up new prospects for her cooperation with brands such as Prada, Dior, Coach, and others.
