German photographer Esther Haase was born on February 20, 1966 in Bremen in the family of an artist and a professor of communication design. Initially, she was professionally engaged in modern dance, performing on stage for two years, and then suddenly decided to study graphic design with an emphasis on photography.

While still a student, Esther interned in the art department of the editorial office of Men's Vogue magazine.

Since 1993, Esther has been an active freelance photographer. She specializes in advertising photography, fashion photography and portraits.
