The elements do not spare either the rich or the poor. British businessman, billionaire and founder of Virgin Group Richard Branson became homeless. Hurricane Irma destroyed his luxurious mansion located on the private island of Necker.

"We will move to a concrete wine cellar under the house. The wonderful team is calm and optimistic," Branson wrote on his Instagram page before the hurricane approached.
