An apple from an apple tree: the photographer's son takes amazing pictures

The landscape photographs that you will see in this issue are simply excellent in all the canons of the genre. They are made in the UK during the "golden hours" - at sunset or at dawn. Fields, coasts, forests - they all seem just fabulous. And this feeling only intensifies when you find out that the photographer who captured all this beauty is only 6 years old.

1. Oliver Andreas Jones is the 6-year-old son of a professional photographer. An apple fell very close to an apple tree - the son takes photographs worthy of his father. Oliver was given a toy camera when he was only three years old, but already at the age of five he had a used Nikon - his parents realized that the boy had talent. In the photo: sunflowers at dawn.

3. Andreas Jones, 42, Oliver's father, says his son was overjoyed when he took him on their first outdoor shoot together.

“I first realized that Oliver had a talent for photography when he was five years old and I took him to a lavender field. I was amazed at how well the composition of his shots turned out.” Photo: Colmers Hill in the morning mist in Dorset.

4. “After seeing his efforts and the results of shooting, I bought my son a used camera and lenses, and by the age of six he already creates pictures worthy of professionals.”

Oliver himself says that he really likes to travel with his father to different places, because he loves sunsets and sunrises. “I even like getting up early in the morning!” Photo: night shot of Nightstone Island in Somerset.

5. Oliver's father is an expert at sunrise and sunset landscape photography.

“I only take Oliver with me on weekends or school holidays. I get up very early and I don't want to interfere with his lessons." Pictured: six-year-old Oliver with his used Nikon camera, given to him by his parents when he was five.

6. “Sometimes we get up at two in the morning to get to this or that place by dawn, and he really likes it. Sometimes, I can't take Oliver with me simply because where I'm going there is a dangerous descent or some other obstacle that is not suitable for a child. Basically, we travel along the south coast of Britain - from the Jurassic coast in Dorset to Devon and Somerset. In the photo: a shot from Weston-super-Mare - the main pier in the first rays of the morning sun.

9. “To say that I am proud of my son is to say nothing. I love it when he accompanies me on trips. His enthusiasm inspires me. There is nothing better than sitting in some quiet place with your son, chatting about something while waiting for the sun to rise. Pictured: Oliver at work in a lavender field.
