Incomprehensible, absurd things always attract our attention. This is not surprising, because they hide intriguing mysteries. Swedish photographer Lars Tunbjörk is an expert in the field of the unknown. What is happening in his pictures can puzzle anyone. Most of the subjects captured in Lars's photos are situations from everyday life. His work once again proves that His Majesty Chance is the best director.
Lars Thunbjörk is a legend of Swedish photography and, according to many, the most "Scandinavian" photographer. His pictures, no matter where they were taken, are filled with national self-irony and absurdity. Thunbjörk can give these qualities to any picture, from a portrait to a landscape.


Over a career spanning almost half a century, the Swedish photographer has published more than 10 photo books. Three of them have made his name famous around the world: I Love Borås (1988-1995), Home (1991-2002), and The Office (2001).

Looking at the photographer's strange pictures, critics often accuse him of staging. Lars Tunbjörk says this:
