But there are exceptions — a girl from An Indian named Kajol Khan spends almost all the time among snakes and does not experience the slightest discomfort. Cobras, namely, the child communicates with them, consider her their own and in the neighborhood the baby is called nothing else than a cobra girl.

Young cobra tamer Kajol Khan lives with her parents in Ghatampur, Uttar Pradesh, India. This state has long been famous for its snake charmers and this skill has not sunk into oblivion. The girl's father belongs to this profession and her grandfathers and great-grandfathers devoted themselves to working with snakes.
Now Kajol is 14 years old and as long as she can remember, she has always been surrounded by poisonous snakes. The girl eats and sleeps with cobras, and besides, dangerous snakes keep her company in games. The first question that journalists ask her is whether snakes have ever bitten her. Khan does not hide that she has received dangerous bites repeatedly.

It is likely that the hereditary tamer of cobras has developed immunity to snake bites, which are very unpleasant for her, but not at all fatal. Snake venom does not affect the girl in the same way as other people — she feels unwell, pain at the bite site and severe drowsiness. But to recover, it is enough for her to take a folk remedy, the secret of which her father knows.

The first bites were the heaviest — then a very small Kajol snake was bitten several times at once — in the stomach, face and hands. Despite the timely delivery of the remedy, the child almost died, but everything went well. The following bites, which the girl has already stopped counting, pass for her without serious consequences.
Father Kajol, whose name is Taj Mohhamad, nicknamed Bura, is a respected man in his city. His main occupation is catching cobras and other poisonous snakes that crawl into the homes, shops and offices of local residents. A man receives only $19 per month for his dangerous work (about 1200 rubles), but for a resident of Uttar Pradesh, this is a substantial amount.

Taj Mohamad gradually passes on his knowledge and skills to his daughter, who will eventually inherit his dangerous business. The time will come and the snake tamer will give her his secret recipe for an antidote that can neutralize one of the most dangerous snake poisons on the planet.
We will never know as much about snakes as this kid from a small Indian town in the jungle, and we don't need it. But it will still be interesting to read a few facts that destroy popular myths from the life of these reptiles.
