A British woman, after learning that an elderly neighbor had not cleaned or washed for 13 years, changed her life

An infirm pensioner, who has no family and friends, has not washed or cleaned the apartment for 13 years, which just got into a terrible state: there was dirt, stench and mold everywhere. But one day a woman's life was changed by a kind neighbor who spent 60 hours to completely clean the apartment.

Lucy Eishen, a 39-year-old mother of three children, has been living next door to an elderly woman for 21 years, but only recently discovered the terrible condition of the pensioner's studio apartment in south-west London.

After numerous attempts to enter the neighbor's apartment, the old lady finally let Lucy in when she accidentally slammed the door and remained in the hallway without keys. Lucy was so shocked by the apartment, and the condition of her grandmother, that she firmly decided to take matters into her own hands and eventually spent two weeks cleaning.

The woman even posted a post on the Internet in the hope that people from all over the world would respond and help collect enough food and furniture to renovate the pensioner's house.

Lucy, who calls her neighbor "My Lady", told: "It was terrible. No one should ever live in such conditions. The poor woman has no family, no friends."

"I threw almost everything out of the apartment, left only the bed and the toilet."

While Lucy was cleaning, her 14-year-old daughter Ruby kept company with an elderly woman who, among other things, has mental problems.

Also, Lucy and her daughter washed a woman for the first time in 13 years. "She's not moving very well, so we helped her. I was washing her, and Ruby was combing her hair."

A kind neighbor also repaired the pensioner's TV, which broke four years ago. Thanks to the huge response of a large number of people, the apartment of an elderly woman became like a house.

"I think many people were touched by this sad story. It could be your mom. It could be you. It could be me in a few years," Lucy said.
