86-year-old 'cool' grandma posts crazy photos on Instagram

“The coolest granny on Instagram” Helen Ruth van Winkle, thanks to her funny photos, has become the favorite of 545,000 photoblog users. A woman under the pseudonym Baddie Winkle uploads her photos to the network in bright outfits, with cigarettes, computer games and other “jokes”. Helen told FEMAIL that her great-granddaughter introduced her to this hobby, who posted the first photo of her great-grandmother on a photoblog. “I love to have fun, but I never thought that posting my photos on the Internet would be so much fun. When we posted my first photo, I was amazed at how many people looked at it and followed my page,” says Helen. The popularity of the old woman is so great that fake Baddie Winkle pages appear on various social networks, and the real Winkle, in addition to the photoblog, has also started her own website through which she sells T-shirts with her image. More than half a million users of the service have subscribed to the Baddie Winkle photoblog.
