44-year-old porn director from Russia openly talked about his work

Alex is a porn director from Russia who has been working with the best studios in the USA for several years, including Vixen, Blacked and Tushy. Unlike many other employees of the adult industry, the man does not hide his identity and is happy to give interviews, which he did recently for TJournal journalists.

"I am 44 years old, and I have studied in completely different places for most of my life," this is how the once Russian, and now American adult film director begins his interview.

But do not hope, Alex will not tell you where you can learn such a profession ... He says that he managed to get into the adult industry quite by accident, thanks to friends from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

One day they invited Alex to take pictures for them, and then, as they say, it started spinning. Soon the guys had their own studio in the cultural capital, where they created videos for one site. But "no tin was removed there," the man clarifies. The studio didn't even have a name, and Alex himself was responsible for the selection of people, the organization of the shooting, and the creation of commercials.

This continued until 2016. Then Alex began to cooperate with the European market, however, no longer as a director or photographer, but as an organizer.

Over time, Alex realized that it was much more profitable to shoot porn films in Europe and the USA than in Russia. Both from a financial point of view and from the point of view of legislation. So the Russian got to Budapest, where he shot projects for the personal website of a porn model. She told her friends about Alex's skill, those to her friends, and soon, thanks to word of mouth, Alex had an impressive portfolio among porn actresses.

Alex's extensive experience and talent helped him qualify for the team of Greg Lansky, the founder of the largest porn producers in the USA — Vixen, Blacked and Tushy studios. The Russian talks about cooperation with Lansky with admiration:

Alex even caught the crisis that overtook the porn industry in 2006-2008. Then such porn giants as Pornhub, YouPorn and xHamster burst into the market, which began to provide access to videos completely free of charge. Alex and the company he works for managed to survive this crisis, mainly due to paid subscriptions to websites and regular customers, the man admits.

During his career, Alex had to work in many directions, ranging from eroticism, ending with rougher genres… But there are boundaries that the director has never crossed: under the ban of porn with youngsters and outright tin.

By the way, about minors. In Europe, shooting porn films is absolutely legal if the actors are 18 years old and they have given their consent. After that, the girls fill out various papers and undergo an examination. Until there are no certificates, there will be no filming. Everything is very strict with this, says Alex.

Even so, Alex believes that filming porn with a condom is "complete game." Some studios do this because they care about girls, but, according to the Russian, actresses themselves should be aware of possible risks (including pregnancy), take appropriate medications, keep a "women's calendar" and undergo examinations on time.
