Bikinis and mini-skirts are common in the Western world, which is not the case in the Middle East. In countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran, a woman must observe Islamic traditions, according to which any part of the body, except the hands and face, must be hidden. And as it turned out, the same applies to photos of Western women, such as Britney Spears and Madonna. 

In North America, everything is sold in a wrapper of sexuality and frivolity. In most cases, this is done by the religious police, or mutawwa, and their main tool is photoshop. And often the censorship goes too far.
