The unusual scene was captured by Andri Priyadi, a graphic designer from Jakarta, Indonesia.
The curious mollusk does not seem to have disturbed the young crocodile, which is only about 30 centimeters in size. The snail examined the reptile for about 10 minutes.
Having reached the jaw, the snail studied the crocodile's teeth, and then returned back the same way that it came.
