But the girl did not despair and got herself a date for the party — it was a cardboard comedian Danny DeVito. He did not stay away and in response came to the bar with a cardboard schoolgirl.

Before the ball, the girl chose who exactly to take to the ball — the figure of 73-year-old De Vito or the cardboard scientist and TV presenter Bill Nye. But there would have been more fuss with the second one — it had to be cut out by stencil yourself. Allison decided to take the path of least resistance and bought a cardboard actor on Amazon.
The figure, along with a trolley for transportation, cost the graduate $ 100. As a result, cardboard De Vito, whom Allison dragged all evening on a leash, became the star of the prom. The "couple" danced and took memorable pictures in the photo booth.
Of course, an older actor is an unusual choice for a teenage girl, but perhaps it is due to the fact that Allison was going to go to Gettysburg College and get a bachelor's degree in film and media studies.
The beauty of this story is that the answer from the actor was not long in coming. On June 5, director Rob McElhenny posted a photo of DeVito with cardboard Allison on his Instagram.
